Faith and sexuality are often discussed separately, yet both play an important role in the lives, relationships, and health decisions of Black women.

This webinar explores the intersection of faith, sexual health, relationships, and wellness through a culturally responsive lens. Participants will hear from public health and sexual health professionals and engage in a meaningful discussion about HIV prevention, reproductive health, healthy relationships, and the influence of faith communities on health and well-being. By centering the experiences of Black women, this session aims to promote empowerment, reduce stigma, and encourage open, judgment-free conversations that support holistic wellness.

Learning Objectives:
  • Discuss how faith and cultural influences shape conversations about sexuality, relationships, and health among Black women.
  • Describe the role of faith-based and community settings in supporting sexual health, HIV prevention, and overall wellness.
  • Identify strategies for fostering healthy relationships, self-advocacy, and informed healthcare decision-making.
  • Explore approaches for creating open and supportive conversations about faith, sexuality, and well-being.
