HealthHIV Medical Education

HealthHIV designs and implements certified medical education that is responsive to the education and training needs of clinicians, allied health workers, the public health workforce, and patients. The dynamic medical education is offered in a variety of formats to a diverse audience of clinicians and allied health professionals.

Education topics include: HIV prevention and PrEP, PrEP navigation, Doxy-PEP, long-acting injectables, HIV care and management, HIV treatment innovation, viral hepatitis, Mpox, LGBTQ health, drug user health, health equity, and healthcare access.

    Over the course of this 1.0 credit/contact hour certified interactive live activity, an interdisciplinary faculty team including an HIV specialist, LGBTQ+ primary care clinician, and prevention services leader will examine the rationale, clinical considerations, and operational readiness required to implement same-day PrEP initiation within real-world practice settings.
