Join Aniruddha Hazra, MD, as he examines the intersection of aging, HIV, and broader health needs for older gay and bisexual men, with a focus on care coordination and long-term wellness. Additionally, Dr. Hazra will also provide critical insights into managing comorbidities, addressing social and mental health challenges, and strengthening interdisciplinary approaches to ensure holistic, affirming care for aging gay and bisexual men living with or at risk for HIV.

People Aging with HIV are Facing Significant Barriers in the Healthcare System Undermining and Disrupting their HIV Clinical Progress and Broader Health Outcomes
People aging with HIV face significant barriers and critical disruptions in care and treatment that undermine their clinical progress and social support, according to a just released report on the findings from HealthHIV’s Fifth Annual State of Aging with HIV National Survey. The survey revealed the daunting reality of aging with HIV, including managing multimorbidity and frailty risk, mental health challenges, and the structural barriers they face regularly.

The National Coalition for LGBTQ Health has developed the MFAX education and awareness campaign to support the dissemination of facts about mpox vaccination, general prevention, transmission, testing, and treatment, as well as foster community engagement efforts around mpox.

Partnering and Communicating Together (PACT)
HealthHIV is a proud member of the Partnering and Communicating Together (PACT) program, the national campaign of the Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. (EHE) initiative and the National HIV/AIDS Strategy. Together is an evidence-based campaign that aims to empower communities, partners, and health care providers to reduce HIV stigma and promote HIV testing, prevention, and treatment.
