Although published evidence-based strategies to support clinical recommendations are not currently available, a growing literature base describes evidence-informed and emerging strategies for the care of older populations with HIV or those who are long-term survivors of HIV. Based on the evidence, this guidance presents strategies to help clinicians recognize and address the needs of older patients with HIV.
