FDA’s New COVID-19 Vaccine Framework Places Immunocompromised People at Risk
The Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) newest framework would limit approved use of updated versions of COVID-19 vaccines to those 65 years of age and older and those under 65 who have specific chronic conditions unless manufacturers run costly, unethical, and time-intensive randomized, placebo-controlled trials.
