In this session, we’ll walk through Module 5 of the full online training, covering the healthcare information, navigation strategies, and real-world case scenarios you need to engage PrEP seekers at every stage of the care continuum.

The HealthHIV Touch Points in Pan-Viral Testing and Linkage to Care initiative addresses missed testing opportunities in Student Health Centers, Emergency Departments, and Urgent Care Centers — critical settings that often serve populations who are disproportionately affected by HIV, STIs, and viral hepatitis and often are not engaged in consistent healthcare. Through interactive provider education, tailored capacity building assistance, and peer-to-peer learning collaboratives, the initiative empowered clinical sites to overcome barriers like workflows, EMR integration, and linkage to care partnerships.

The result: sites successfully implemented opt-out pan-viral testing, refined their data collection practices, and strengthened linkage to care, increasing screening rates and building more sustainable, patient-centered care models.
