HIV PrEP Navigation Certification Program (HIVPNC)
As the need for HIV prevention services continues to grow, expanding and strengthening the PrEP navigation workforce remains essential.
The updated HealthHIV HIV PrEP Navigation Certification (HIVPNC) Program prepares providers and allied health professionals to guide community members in initiating, using, and staying engaged in PrEP care.
This enhanced 2025 program now includes nine modules, all updated with current clinical guidance, real-world navigation strategies, client-centered approaches, and recurring case examples that reflect the experiences of navigators in the field.
By participating in this free, one-of-a-kind program, learners will:
- Demonstrate their commitment to delivering patient-centered PrEP navigation services
- Develop skills to educate clients about PrEP and identify appropriate prevention options
- Help clients access and maintain PrEP through insurance navigation, financial assistance, and ongoing support
- Strengthen long-term engagement across the PrEP continuum
- Earn a HealthHIV HIV PrEP Navigation Certification upon successful program completion
- Receive up to 5.0 CME/CE credits (CME, MOC, AAPA, NCPD, CPE, ASWB)
Upon successful completion of all modules in this program, participants earn their HIV PrEP Navigation Certification (HIVPNC) and receive a listing in the national online directory of HIVPNCs.
