October 14, 2025The recent changes in federal and state immunization policies for the 2025–2026 COVID-19 season have left many Americans uncertain about whether to get COVID-19 shots—and how to do so. To help navigate the current landscape in each state, the Immunocompromised Collaborative immunization dashboard from the Immune Deficiency Foundation tracks who is eligible for the 2025-2026 COVID-19 vaccine, as well as who can get it from a pharmacy without a prescription and whether state-regulated health insurance plans have to cover the cost.
