About the HealthHIV REINFORCE Initiative
To ensure that healthcare professionals who treat, care for, and/or support people with HIV are aware of retention and re-engagement interventions to overcome barriers to returning to care, HealthHIV launched the REINFORCE Initiative: Re-engaging People with HIV in Care Through Workforce Response and Resiliency.
REINFORCE is a comprehensive capacity building and multi-format educational initiative. This initiative is supported by an educational grant from Gilead Sciences, Inc.
It is strategically designed to include a robust capacity building initiative for HIV care delivery sites, an HIV retention and re-engagement in care resource repository — HealthHIV REINFORCE Center for Retention in HIV Care — with training tools for providers and patients, as well as access to a series of CE/CME-certified activities, each featuring a variety of supplemental educational components and downloadable clinical practice tools.

HealthHIV REINFORCE Center for Retention in HIV Care
The REINFORCE Center from HealthHIV builds the capacity of HIV and primary care providers and other healthcare professionals to implement retention and re-engagement in HIV care for people living with HIV across a lifetime. This Center enhances clinical and non-clinical provider and patient knowledge of HIV retention and re-engagement in care through sharing of model practices for HIV retention and re-engagement in care, data visualization, research, and medical education.
