This position will be responsible for supporting a multi-year training development cooperative agreement to produce online training modules and other content, and will support all writing/editing needs of the education program. The writer/editor will have proven writing skills, adhere to timelines, and manage multiple projects in various stages of development. This position will be responsible for managing the online training strategy of HealthHIV programs. The eTraining Specialist will develop competency-based, educational content and training using adult learning principles to improve competency, capacity, and skills of the target audiences, which include both clinical providers (MD/DO, NP/PA) and the non-clinical public health workforce (navigators, case managers, disease intervention specialists). Recipients of HealthHIV’s online training include health centers, community- and faith-based organizations, health departments (state and local), and HIV, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), hepatitis C (HCV), and behavioral health service organizations. The Capacity Building Intern will support the Capacity Building team in delivering technical assistance and group training to enhance clinical and non-clinical organizations’ ability to improve patient health outcomes.
