Capacity Building Assistance (CBA) Manager: (HIV, HCV, and Opioid Use Disorders)       

This position will be responsible for the coordination, delivery/facilitation and implementation of capacitybuilding assistance (CBA) and technical assistance (TA) services to health departments, community-based organizations, health centers, and other HIV, HCV, and opioid use disorder treatment service organizations and partners. The Capacity Building Manager will develop and implement CBA/TA plans and materials, deliver individualized consultation and training, and coordinate delivery by additional service providers when required. The Capacity Building Manager will conduct needs assessments and continuous quality improvement activities and manage the day-to-day implementation of CBA activities. The CBA Manager also will assist in the development of competency-based curriculum, both in-person and online, that advances knowledge and skills of the learners. Health Writer/Editor (E-learning) 

This position will be responsible for supporting a multi-year training development cooperative agreement to produce online training modules and other content, and will support all writing/editing needs of the education program. The writer/editor will have proven writing skills, adhere to timelines, and manage multiple projects in various stages of development. The writer/editor will collaborate with the instructional design team and subject matter experts to produce clear, concise training products which are appropriate for the HIV prevention public health workforce and meet 508 compliance standards.

 

Capacity Building Assistance Coordinator: (HIV and OUD Prevention and Treatment)

The Capacity Building Assistance (CBA) Coordinator will support HealthHIV’s Capacity Building Assistance Managers in the implementation of programs that provide training and targeted capacity building assistance (CBA) to state and local health departments, community-based organizations, health care organizations, and other organizations providing HIV, sexually transmitted infection (STI), opioids use disorder and misuse prevention, hepatitis C (HCV), and behavioral health services. CBA services are designed to improve programmatic, clinical, and administrative capacity of organizations. The Coordinator will work with HealthHIV staff and partner organizations to assist in the development of educational materials and implementation of trainings, workshops, webinars, and other knowledge, skills, and competency building activities. Specialization in advancing health equity and minority health, including work with MSM of color, transgender individuals, and other marginalized communities is strongly desired.

The Coordinator will provide support to various training and capacity building assistance programs through needs assessment and implementation of online surveys, development of competency-based curriculum, training materials, and CBA tools, and program tracking and reporting. Capacity Building Assistance (CBA) Coordinator: (Aging with HIV and LGBT Health)

The Capacity Building Assistance (CBA) Coordinator will support HealthHIV’s Capacity Building Assistance Managers in the implementation of programs that provide training and targeted capacity building assistance (CBA) to state and local health departments, community-based organizations, health care organizations, and other organizations providing HIV, sexually transmitted infection (STI), hepatitis C (HCV), and behavioral health services. CBA services are designed to improve programmatic, clinical, and administrative capacity of organizations and clinical providers. The Coordinator will work with HealthHIV staff and partner organizations to assist in the development of educational materials and implementation of trainings, workshops, webinars, and other knowledge, skills, and competency building activities to advance health outcomes of individuals aging with HIV. Specialization in generational health, advancing health equity, racial and ethnic minority health, and LGBT health strongly desired.

The CBA Coordinator will collect critical data related to aging with HIV and frailty, implement state-of-the-science education and training for a variety of providers (clinical, case managers, navigators, other front-line providers), conduct patient education forums and empowerment campaigns, and improve adoption of care coordination models through targeted, tailored capacity building efforts. Capacity Building Manager

The Capacity Building Manager will manage HealthHIV programs that improve the programmatic, clinical, and administrative capacity of the organizations served by HealthHIV to sustain quality programs for individuals at-risk for or living HIV.  These organizations include Health Centers, community- and faith-based organizations, as well as health departments and HIV/AIDS service organizations. Capacity Building Intern

The Capacity Building Intern will support the Capacity Building team in delivering technical assistance and group training to enhance clinical and non-clinical organizations’ ability to improve patient health outcomes. The Capacity Building Intern will assist with research, analysis, and writing related to barriers to care, best practices for medical providers, and partnerships for non-clinical and clinical organizations. LGBT Health Intern

The LGBT Health Intern will provide the Coalition team with programmatic support, research and analysis, and writing and reporting related to the broad spectrum of LGBT programmatic efforts with consumers, advocates, healthcare providers, community-based organizations, and healthcare organizations. Education & Training Intern

The Education & Training Intern will support HealthHIV’s education and training efforts to consumers, healthcare providers, professionals and organizations providing services to people living with or at risk for HIV/AIDS. Programs include HealthHIV’s Fiscal Health program, Remaining Relevant in the New RealityTM training, PrEP medical education forums, and multiple online programs via HealthHIV’s learning platform.
