The Three D HIV Prevention ProgramTM enhances the ability of TA recipients to conduct enhanced data collection and analysis to make better-informed programmatic decisions that impact the delivery of quality HIV prevention services.
The Three D Program: Directing Comprehensive TA from Systems to SustainabilityTM provides a continuum of technical assistance (TA) and information exchange activities that proactively and strategically responds to the gaps in knowledge, skills, and competency of HIV prevention partners. The Three D Program enhances the ability of TA recipients to conduct enhanced data collection and analysis to make better-informed programmatic decisions that impact the delivery of quality HIV prevention services. HealthHIV partners with a multi-disciplinary team to provide TA that looks comprehensively at the changing healthcare delivery landscape and the impact of the Affordable Care Act and the National HIV/AIDS Strategy.
The Three D Program is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
HealthHIV and the Three D team provide TA to ASO/CBOs, FBOs, HIV clinical care providers, health organizations, health departments, mental health and substance abuse providers, people living with HIV, community foundations and philanthropic entities, academic institutions, and other national organizations that represent stakeholders in HIV prevention. These partners are critical to ensuring delivery of quality, effective HIV prevention services to people living with, or at risk for, HIV in in CDC’s directly funded urban jurisdictions.
