Approach

In response to the significantly evolving capacity building needs of ASOs/CBOs resulting from implementation of health care reform, recent biomedical advances, national strategies, and federal/state funding re-alignments, HealthHIV launched a six-part, online curriculum for ASO/CBO leaders and managers that addresses concerns identified from Remaining Relevant in the New RealityTM (HealthHIV’s ASO/CBO Capacity Building Initiatives), including presence of leadership at day-long training events and delivering practical tools and resources to promote sustainability and model adaptation.

This curriculum assists ASO/CBO leadership in addressing key issues concerning the changing HIV service delivery landscape, identifying best practices to evolve existing business models, and connecting to resources that can support them along the way. At the conclusion of the program, participants who satisfactorily complete the series will be issued a certificate of completion for their participation.

** An additional training is available for board leadership, called The BLT: The Board Leadership Program.**
