DESCRIPTION:HealthHIV is excited to be heading to Louisville\, Kentucky next week for the 2026 NACCHO360 Conference. We are a national non-profit working with health departments\, healthcare organizations\, communities\, and providers to advance effective HIV\, HCV\, STI\, LGBTQ health\, drug user health\, and health equity through capacity building\, technical assistance\, education and training\, advocacy\, and research and evaluation. Stop by booth #715 on the exhibit hall floor to meet our team\, learn about our programs\, and discover how HealthHIV can support you. \nIn addition\, you can participate in our activities at NACCHO360 by joining our interactive workshop and/or visiting our poster presentation\, both described below. \nWe look forward to meeting you at NACCHO360! \nHIV PrEP Navigation Certification™ Workshop\n\n\n\nJoin our interactive workshop\, “Expanding and Elevating the HIV Prevention Workforce through National Certification\,” on Tuesday\, July 14\, 2026 from 10:30am-12:30pm Eastern\, to preview the HealthHIV HIV PrEP Navigation Certification™ Program — the only national program dedicated to certifying and strengthening patient-centered PrEP navigation for the allied health workforce. \nThis workshop will give you a hands-on introduction to helping clients navigate health coverage so they can start — and stay — on PrEP. In this session\, we’ll walk through Module 5 of the full online training\, covering the healthcare information\, navigation strategies\, and real-world case scenarios you need to engage PrEP seekers at every stage of the care continuum. \nJoin us for this two-hour intensive at NACCHO360\, then continue with the program’s remaining eight modules online to earn full certification and continuing education credits.\n\n\n\nTouch Points Poster Presentation\n\n\n\nVisit our poster presentation\, “Optimizing pan-viral (HIV\, HCV\, STI) testing and linkage to care in emergency medicine through a quality improvement initiative\,” on Wednesday\, July 15\, 2026 from 12:00-1:30pm Eastern. \nThe HealthHIV Touch Points in Pan-Viral Testing and Linkage to Care initiative addresses missed testing opportunities in Student Health Centers\, Emergency Departments\, and Urgent Care Centers — critical settings that often serve populations who are disproportionately affected by HIV\, STIs\, and viral hepatitis and often are not engaged in consistent healthcare. Through interactive provider education\, tailored capacity building assistance\, and peer-to-peer learning collaboratives\, the initiative empowered clinical sites to overcome barriers like workflows\, EMR integration\, and linkage to care partnerships. \nThe result: sites successfully implemented opt-out pan-viral testing\, refined their data collection practices\, and strengthened linkage to care\, increasing screening rates and building more sustainable\, patient-centered care models.
