SUMMARY:Insights from HealthHIV's Fifth Annual State of Aging with HIV™ National Survey
DESCRIPTION:Join HealthHIV on Wednesday\, May 6\, 2026 at 1:00pm Eastern for a webinar that will share in-depth findings from the recently-fielded HealthHIV State of Aging with HIV™ Fifth Annual National Survey. HealthHIV conducted the survey to identify the state of care coordination and the complex health challenges associated with aging with HIV. \n\n\n\nSurvey participants included people aging with HIV across the lifespan. This includes individuals aged 50 and older and those living with HIV for 15 years or longer\, including long-term survivors\, older adults aged 65 and above\, and individuals living with HIV since birth. The survey also included providers and the workforce supporting their care across clinical and community settings. The findings reflect participants’ perspectives on topics such as: \n\n\n\n\nCare coordination and the complex health challenges associated with aging with HIV; \n\n\n\nAging\, independence\, and planning — how health and support systems respond to those needs; \n\n\n\nConcerns about long-term care services\, housing stability\, and daily living needs; \n\n\n\nAssociations between mental health\, discrimination\, stress\, and quality of life and health outcomes; and \n\n\n\nNavigating changes in Medicare and the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program. \n\n\n\n\nThe webinar will review key takeaways from the survey\, outline what’s next for research and care delivery based on these findings\, and provide an opportunity for participants to ask questions to expert faculty and survey researchers following the presentation.
