In his State of the Union speech, President Trump announced the administration’s plan to end HIV/AIDS by 2030. Many questions concerning this initiative need to be addressed, such as:

  • What are the specific activities in the plan?
  • How will the effort be funded?
  • Does it address social determinants of health?
  • How does this align with the National HIV/AIDS Strategy?
  • How will the community inform the plan and approach?

SYNC 2019 brings the health community together for purposeful discussion and education and training about the most pressing healthcare topics of our times, and this End HIV/AIDS by 2030 announcement certainly qualifies as a critical topic for inclusion at the conference. SYNC 2019′ will feature four plenary sessions, each addressing cross cutting topics and multi-disciplinary approaches to advancing HIV, HCV, STI and LGBT health. The End HIV/AIDS by 2030 effort will be the focus of a plenary session.

We want to hear from you so that we can design the plenary to be most impactful. What questions and concerns do you have about this plan? Whom would you like to have speak about these topics?
