Communications
HealthHIV houses a team of communications professionals, including graphic designers, social media managers, and in-house video/audio production experts, with experience encompassing the development and dissemination of materials in both print and digital spaces.
HealthHIV has extensive experience in planning, producing, coordinating, and overseeing the communications of deliverables such as program plans, toolkits, training materials, monographs, curricula, manuals, and other publications. This includes creating brand strategies, website wireframing and development, video production, animation, email marketing, and social media promotions for HealthHIV and its initiatives.
HealthHIV uses a multi-pronged communications dissemination approach, engaging our audiences through, for example: websites— HealthHIV.org, HealthLGBTQ.org, HealthHCV.org, ReduceHarmDC.org, and EffiBarryInsititute.org—which feature relevant, of-the-moment information; email blasts and consumer engagement software; social media that promote the agency’s programs and trainings, current LGBTQ and HIV-related legislation and policy, HIV medical education and treatment issues, health disparities; and, exhibit booth materials, including booth design, banners, and brochures.
