A Linkage to HIV Care Cost Benefit Analysis Model: From Cost Implications to Quality of Life Impact

This webinar provides an overview of an innovative cost analysis model to measure the cost of linking persons to care early (within 90 days of diagnosis) versus late (after 90 days).

Developed by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SC DHEC) in partnership with John Snow, Inc. (JSI), the model also measures quality-adjusted life years (QALY), which estimates the additional years of reasonable quality of life a person gains as a result of treatment, in this case from receiving early versus late treatment.
